I finally bought a squatty potty (SP) yesterday at costco -- and I've already used it twice! I will say it does seem to slide out faster/more smoothly, but I dont think it will matter if I am not careful about diet and magnesium. However, maybe over time I will notice a difference, not just after 2 uses.
Yesterday was the first day I indulged in real pizza -- just a slice of cheese from costco. Costco uses a lot of cheese. I also had a cup of ice cream with strawberries. Other than that my diet was pretty standard and I ate ~25 g of fiber...but I did take 900 mg of magnesium just in case; usually I'd feel fine with less. Today's BM was still formed, a little looser than usual (like between a 4 and 5 on bristol scale), but not runny or watery. Yay!
I amde my fiber chart and am keeping track of everything.
Also went to naturopath yesterday and she did acupuncture on me and because I was already healed did some spots that were supposed to strengthen tissues and keep the blood in the veins. I want to think it had something to do with spleen qi. it felt great -- i LOVE acupuncture -- and i ended up falling asleep. i just realized i forgot to tell her i have a small hemmie because of all of this, but i feel like her treatment was supposed to help with that. next month i will mention it and see what she recommends. i might also ask for more diet and herb recommendations but i know horse chestnut, witch hazel, and ginger are all good for that from the supplements she gave me:
http://www.wisewomanherbals.com/index.c ... condary=10. However, the product has a lead warning and so I didnt take many of them. Also, I dont like not having any quality control on supplements -- that's a big deal. It's one reason I dont trust many supplements unless they have been tested by an independent lab, like labdoor.
