my surgeon is checking my ass every 2 weeks, last check was exactly 2 weeks ago, he said it looks good. But i kinda cant believe it, if it looks good why am i still in pain? I will see him again next week, so i guess i have to wait till there.

Hi just wanted to let you know that I was in agony and still getting spasms full on at week 5 after LIS and still in pain after every BM 8 weeks after but by week 16 my fissure was completely healed. I had regular check up and my surgeon always said "it's going great" I was like how on earth can I be in this much pain if it's healing. But he obviously knew better than me as it did heal and the pain did stop.
Are you still using some cream like GTN or diliatzem to help you through

MPB that is so lovely to hear thank you very much - i dont use any creames no doctor said its not neccessary. Its not like that i cant survive the pain or something, the pain is much better than it was before surgery. Did you had some itching too at some point?

I only had itching for a few days to be honest but it is usually a good sign of healing
