Ah maybe you are best getting a CRS to have a look a good one won't need to do an internal they should be able to tell from looking.
Also if you need to have a colonoscopy and don't want to take the prep. Here's an option that one of my fellow crohnies gave me if you don't eat for a day and have something you know will help clear you out then you don't need to take the prep. I hate it as it makes me go way too much and for days after. Now I just don't eat for two days and have 2 cups of black coffe the day before that way I only go 6 times instead of over 30 a day with the prep

Brande - so sorry to hear the pain is moving around. We all have so many nerves down there that are inter-related...it's often hard to know what is going on.

Have you consulted with a CRS -- sounds like you really should get it looked at and get some advice from an expert doc.

I finally had surgery today..I had anal fistula surgery and I had Lateral Internal Sphincterotomy and removal of a skin tag that was coverint my anus.. I also have a fissure. I have been dealing with this for almost 7months and it has been the worst pain i have experienced.. The abcess was the worst ok top 2 with the fissure with pain..i am in pain today but a different pain..PRETTY bad but i see a light at the end of the tunnel until i have to poop and then that might change..
