Hello I’m 4 days post op of LIS..I have a lot of burning at the incision site and it feels lumpy. Is this all normal?..also should I use ice or heat?

Hi yes for lots of people burning after LIS is normal, you could use both heat and ice, sitz baths will help with the burning especially if it’s coming from the fissure itself or the IS and it will encourage blood flow to the area which will help healing.
Also ice will help stop any post surgery swelling and take out any heat
