Hopefull123 has had neither yet but is almost ready to jump into lis. I didn't touch the area for the first two weeks then I started using diltiazem which does the same thing, do you have any anti-inflammatory pills I noticed a big difference from using them but the swelling will go down on it's own in time either way. Where abouts do you live im in nz

Yeah I looked and I put nifedipine on and it feels weird!!

Oh I believe that's where hopefull123 lives aswel I'm in NZ an haven't met or heard from anyone living in NZ dealing with or dealt with this before it would be nice to talk to someone in my country about different doctors an surgeons an what not. If you find yourself feeling stressed about all this try do something that relaxes you : )

Just has my first poop it was HORRIBLE. Praise God if was soft but if was SO BIG I had to strain to get it out! : (

Feels just really sore now

Hey BUM_UK I'm doing ok still not healed still pain with bms but not as bad as before I didn't get a fissurectomy just Botox my muscle is still tight sometimes when did your muscle calm down an did you aim to have type 3-4 bms on the Bristol chart?

You mite need more fiber an water if it's not coming out without straining but ask your doctor first I never strain also i squat over the toilet place you feet on the seat. Do you have any anti-inflammatory or pain killers they will help also have a warm bath or just sit in hip deep water 3x a day to help the muscle relax that will help with pain.

Day 17 update
Bm hurt a little just at the start then no pain during or after I applied the diltiazem afterwards hoping it helps towards healing.

Today’s poop for me was much better (still a little painful, but hopefully tomorrow will be better!) I think I’m still very sore from the Botox!
