Thank you!! And sorry I haven’t checked in for awhile. I had something strange happen where I couldn’t log into the site for a week or so because it said my IP address was banned. Anyway, it appears I’m allowed back on! My C section is Friday and I’m freaking out a little bit. For some reason I haven’t had any bleeding or pain from BMs in a week!

Good luck with your C-section! Are you still going to get LIS if you're not having any more symptoms?

Hey all! Just wanted to do a quick update while my babe is sleeping. So I had the C section last Friday and it went really well. I got away with needing very minimal narcotics and experienced no constipation at all. For the past 2 weeks I’ve had no bleeding or pain or follow-on spasms. In the past few days I noticed my skin tag is reducing in size and no longer hard to the touch. I’ve been experimenting with having slightly more bulky stools and have not felt any repercussions thus far. Sooo all of this is to say that I thankfully am not in pain at the moment (which is so wonderful at this moment with a newborn) and I’m going to try to keep a good diet and using my diltiazem cream. I did schedule LIS for 4 weeks from now but will obviously cancel or postpone it if I’m healing now.

That's awesome that you seem to be healing! I'm wondering if I should start taking the dilitiazem soon so I can have a chance to heal before birth. It makes me nervous taking the medicine but it seemed to work really well for you. Anyways, congrats and I hope you never have this issue again!

I think the pressure of baby is stopping your fissure from healing the whole area is stressed so hopefully like PreggoAF yours heals as soon as baby is out
