Finally I found relief with a cream

Postby Draconna » 15 Jul 2018, 15:42

Hello, I have been a non-member just viewing the posts on here since I developed a fissure 1 year ago. I was given the cream by the specialist which relaxes the sphincter muscle but it never really did much in way of healing and I also developed a terrible itch that I believe was from the cream. I used this cream 2-3x a day for many months.

The fissure was what I would consider a moderate level, mostly just incredible itch that would occur randomly during the day and sometimes I would have a sharp pain. It was at the point where it was interfering with my exercising, walking or sitting too long at my desk.

On this site, I was researching various creams that people were using. I read one post about the zinc oxcide which heals cuts. So far, I had tried coconut oil and aloe vera gel, which felt nice but did nothing for me. I was getting very desperate and I was thinking about scheduling the surgery. But, before I went down that path, I wanted to try more creams. Well, I tried the Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Ointment - Maximum Strength 40% Zinc Oxide
and let me tell you that this has quite possibly healed me and saved me so much trouble. I have been using it once in the morning and once before bed for 2 weeks now. I am hoping it will heal me, but even if it does not, it has completely removed the itch and I have my normal life back. Please if you are in the same predicament, give this cream a try and it may help you.

Hi, just an update on using this cream. It pretty much masks all the itch and pain, however I have noticed that it hasn't healed the fissure. It is certainly better than nothing, but the battle is still ongoing. I apply it 1-2 times in a 24 hour period.
