I just tried to and there's no option for me to add a main tread?

If you click 'New Topic" you will see the option to enter a subject heading for your post. That's what starts the new thread.

Yeah what I mean is a main thread like there is the surgery thread and there's the Crohn's disease general anal fissure discussion thread but no Botox thread

There's no special Botox section in the forum. But you can create a new Botox-related thread in the General section.

Yeah I was just thinking there should probably be a Botox thread in the main threads because it's not surgery but it's not general chat I'd say there's quite a few people who had or our having Botox before or in place of Lis surgery

Maybe you could post it as a suggestion in the 'Comments, suggestions and ideas' section of the forum?

MARCH 22 UPDATE

So its been well over a month and I can say the last 2 weeks have been glorious. I feel like my butthole is back to normal. Today especially I had a pretty large BM in the morning which felt like almost nothing coming out. I was surprised how much it was. I am on antibiotics and I guess they got to me today because after lunch I had 2 diarrhea stools. Have not had watery stools in forever. Still 3 poops in one day used to have me in agony. Today was nothing. No second thought. No pain and no discomfort in the rectal area. I think the fissure is finally 100% healed and my muscles are healed from the surgery.

I find that Im not obsessing with my diet so much...I try to avoid real bad foods...overeating bread or fried stuff. I eat fruit and veggies. I bought myself a stainless steel water bottle and I drink all day long. Once a day I have a gatorade in which I put some miralax and some benefiber. I feel like it keeps things moving well. I think at some point I will fall back on that a little and just depend on my system to move things along but with having things so wonderful for 2 weeks im not risking any backwards movement.

So there you go people. I was in hell for 18 months...and the surgery fixed it. I was so hesitant for so long but it really worked for me. I will try and remember to update this every so often as I do see some people slip back into getting another fissure. They weren't normal issues for me...but pregnancy related and there are no more babies on my docket so I hope to be in the clear. Fingers crossed.
