Never tried doing a cleanse. I personally tend to nourish the gut flora and I am afraid a cleanse my just affect it too much.

Well today I had the most constipated morning like I haven't had for a long time so I think my gut is unhappy anyway I feel like I'm lacking good bacteria anyway I feel like I might do a cleanse and then start after that putting in heaps of good bacteria everyday just a clean slate.

I can't tell you how relieve I was to read these words. I've been looking forward to my own fissurectomy/LIS (scheduled for end of April) with some anxiety and I'm glad to know the recovery may not be the ordeal I've feared!
