6/7 Friday

BM around 7am?

Ate mostly liquid today since I was hoping I could skip a day of BM (and get more healing time). Matcha almond milk, lemon/honey water, tea, bone broth, etc.

Had a massage. Massage therapist helped me stretch out my pelvic area/glutes, which seem to have helped a bit.

No painkiller taken. But spasms only went away after 6pm.

6/8 Saturday

Continued with mostly liquid diet (with tiny snacks here and there, like dates and prunes), but had a banana smoothie around 4pm, and still had BM at 6pm (I was hoping I could delay it until tomorrow morning).

Now it's 10:20pm, mild spasms at pain level 3/4 ish.

I think I have two sentinel piles now. Sad.

Here to offer support and you're not alone with the skin tags! Mine increased in size when I tore my fissure even worse 2 months ago. It seems to deflate on good days though. Such an odd thing isn't it?
- February 2019 : Fissure
- Tried all of the creams, perfecting the diet, self dilation
- Reduced symptoms significantly but still not healed
- July 2019 : LIS with tag removal

Thanks! I really appreciate it. Does your sentinel tag cause pain or irritation?

6/9 Sunday
Yesterday's BM was around 4pm, so today I ate very little again, wanting to delay BM. Drank bone broth (to make sure I had some protein), honey/lemon water, turmeric water, etc.

No BM, no pain. This entire day I felt almost like a normal person. Only felt a tiny little bit of "rawness" (barely noticeable) when I applied topical treatment to the fissure site.

6/10 Monday

I was so optimistic when I woke up this morning since yesterday I had close to zero discomfort and I really was hoping for a painless BM. Boy was I wrong. (BM around 9, 10am)

To be fair, pain during BM has decreased a bit. Pain of pushing back the hemmies (since doing so causes a wave of intense spasms) also decreased noticeably. But overall, the post-PM spasms lasted all day. Now it's 6:20pm and it's still not gone. I didn't take any painkillers though.

Also, the first time I got a fissure, finger dilation was so effective at stopping the spasms. Now it doesn't work as well. Maybe because the location of the fissure is different? This 2nd one is about 9 o'clock, and much deeper (up "higher" into the anal canal) than the first one (which was about 6 o'clock, and closer to the anal canal opening, visible from the outside).

food: some prunes, home-made multi-bean soy milk, one protein shake (20g of plant protein), 2 cups of spinach, banana/coconut water smoothie

My skin tag doesn't seem to cause pain or irritation. I think my fissure is right at the base of the tag, and maybe I have another internal, but not sure. If I touch the skin tag I don't feel any discomfort or anything...

Yeah my tag and fissure are "aligned" liked that as well. Now that we are on this topic, I did pay attention to their sizes yesterday. I think the first tag did shrink in size. It feels smaller compared to when my first fissure was active. The second tag is pretty big right now though.

Yep, I noticed when I damaged my fissure on a work trip in April the tag grew significantly. I feel like it shrinks or deflates on good days. It feels big and hard on bad days.
