Feeling better today. No burning so far :) My ass just feel wierd.
Kim: Yes I know that LIS and botox is used to promte healing by increase blood flow. I just think it is very strange that I never feel "normal" down there if the fissure is so small or healed.

Lars,
I think there can be irritation w/o having a fissure (just my opinion).

Lars - fissure might "close" but it needs about a year to heal fully - so try to be patient and careful at the same time. It is so hard to not pay attention and to be vigilant about it all at once - I also wonder sometimes if it is possible at all !!!???
My new fissure was about only 3 mm long but deep -one CRS did not see it at all - so don't assume it is gone completely especially so soon. Stay on the safe side and pamper your behind until it feels fine for a looooooooong time : ) !
All the best !

I definitly still have a fissure. Today I had fissure blood on the stools for the first time in 4 months :( The bm was also very thin. Good damn tight ass.. I guess Anusitis is out off the question for now..

Oh Lars, i am sorry :(
I know how dishearting it is when one sees the blood Image
You must take all measures to ensure the next BM is more comfortable,
Do you take any stool softeners ? i wonder if you would benefit using a bulk forming laxative or whether that may be a bit tricky
I do hope you are not in too much pain Image

Yeah it is very strange...I had to push a little and there it was...I think LIS is my only option now. The botox does not seem to work. Can you name a good bulk forming laxative? Maybe I should try it. I am not in pain. Just the usual that my "ass" does not feel normal.
