thanks Tabby, I know you're right, its the waiting and the wondering thats getting to me..... Image Image
Pinky, I've got so used to it keep coming back, that its just kind of normal now! Maybe it isnt though!! It usually lasts about a week, last time about 3 weeks. Theres no rhyme or reason, or none that i know of, it just happens. Dont panic, I dont think it happens that often after LIS, I'm sure you'll be one of the lucky ones who heal up and everything is fine :D
I hope your sister feels better very soon and can come and help you, it must be totally overwhelming and stressful for you at the moment. But things will get better, hang in there Pinky! xx Image

Pinky,
I said a little prayer for you and your family. Hope your sister is able to come. It can get lonely when you are home alone with a baby. It would be great if she can come and visit you.

Val,

Hi all,ive been so busy with my son.My sister came this afternoon Image
Im so happy to have her here. Thanks for all your prayers. She's still not completely recovered and hope she gets well soon.i worry too much about everything.i always think something will go wrong.i have to lift my son whos around 8.5kgs.Will it affect my healing?i know it can increase the pressure and affect healing.wat do you all think?should i rest more?I feel sore sometimes and still dont sit on my butt directly.everyday i worry where ill have a setback.i just pray God to deal with it if it happens.I have to take it out of my head and try to lead a normal life.dont know when ill feel normal again.
corsi dear,my family is in india and my sis in newyork.another sis in india.some cousins and aunts in states.i cant move to india now.i feel better that my sis is here.
Val,the pain is less now.It burns a bit after BMs.do feel sore sometimes.i can bear this pain but i hope it will end soon.everytime there's a bit of pain,im in fear if it'll get worse.

:( I used to feel the same way Pinky, and worry about what will happen, but then it did keep happening so now I've got used to it! Thats not to say that you will keep having ongoing problems - really and truly most people dont, so statistics wise, you should just heal and be ok. Please try to keep positive. I've got to the stage where I'm grateful for the good days, and wont spoil them by worrying about bad ones.
I'm not sure if lifting your babe will hinder healing, but some things we have to do - we have to live our lives despite all this madness. In time, it will get better, its just hard to believe that when you're hurting! Image Image

Haven't had LIS so I really don't know, but i would say lift as little as possible and rest as much as possible. The CRS say one has to be active to heal, but I think that is difficult when in pain. There's a thin line between being too active - too little active. Heavy lifting and excercise has been bad for me while having a fissure...
Take care sweetie, enjoy the visit :)

Glad you hear your sister is there-I hope she is feeling better. If you can avoid picking up your son for a few more weeks I think it will be better. Get comfortable and then let sis give him to you.
You are getting better and that gives me great joy for you!
