Yes, I did. My fissure was right inside the anus so I did have to get in there. I put KY jelly on my finger first and lubed the area and then put the A&D ointment. It did seem help, but if you go inside at all make sure you use the lube so you can get in and get out without any trouble if you know what I mean!

Now I have a stupid question  - what finger is best to use . All of my fingers are tiny but just logistically Image Image I wish I have the courage to even attempt - it would have saved me so many times Image

I used my index finger since it is the most precise and is more dexterious. But I think if you could use a smaller finger the better. NO THUMBS!

i've been putting the recta-gel inside with my pinky finger or a q-tip. the gel acts as kind of a lube itself. it has hydrocortisone in it so i can only use it for a couple more days, i might switch to A&D or vitamin e ointment after that.... thanks for the response lecia!

Ahahahaaa Lecia , OMG Image I would definitely skip that one Image
Juney - thanks for telling me your way Image
Thank you girls for giving me more precise instructions - I guess I will have to take a shot of whiskey to relax and try it - I have NO idea why I think it must hurt - CRS definitely must have put much bigger stuff in to look , not to mention size of THEIR finger Image and how deep they go :( and all around BRRRRRRRR..... I am a such a wuss (sp.???) when my butt is in question - I think I would have easier time to cut myself on purpose or draw my own blood without a second thought - but when the BH is in question - I now respect it and treat it like a nuclear time bomb Image

I wish you could heal faster....
How are you doing with your family? Does your baby react to you being in bad shape or is he used to it by now?

thanks lecia,i put the ointment on the TP and keep it between my bum cheeks.it helps with the irritating from leaking.i will try putting some on the wound.im so scared to touch there.
corsi,im coping alright, some days are good and some not so great.hubbys been of great help the last few days.he's gonna be busy next week though.im thankful the spasms have gone, just some soreness and dullache and stinging.i try not to be in front of my son if im too upset or in pain.i still cant forget his scared and worried expression when i cried like a psycho due to pain.he was just 4 months and he started crying a lot.after that,i would tell my hubby or mil to take him away from me so that he wouldnt see me in pain and crying.since im alone with him most of the times,i try to smile and be fine.he makes me forget everything when he hugs me or smiles.he gives me the strength to go on.
how are you corsi?

How are you doing today, Pinky? Are you still sore? How is your son doing? How are things going with your hubby's studies. Is he studying to be a doctor?
It is so hard to be in pain in front of children. We are supposed to be invinciable to them. My oldest daughter will scream in pain if someone just bumps into her. I worry that this is a reaction to my being in paing since she was 5. We may all end up in therapy. But yours is not going to endure-you have come so far, dont' you think? Remember how sad and hopeless you were feeling?
