Hi Image Pinky,
You sound like a GREAT Mom. I am glad you got out today with the baby. How did the baby like jolly babies? Is that a group for Moms & babies?
Have you tried adding some fiber supplement like metamucil or benefiber? I think that helps along with the movical.

Take care,

Pinky -
Your baby sounds like so much fun! I bet our boys would be good friends!
I had a dull ache after a hard BM that lasted all day last week. I think it is there becasue our butts are still not 100% healed.
Hope your doing better!

Pinky, I wouldn't worry about him being a fussy eater - no child will starve himself. If he doesn't eat he will be hungrier for the next meal. Just don't give him treats in between...and make sure what you give him is good healthy food (not necessary to tell you this since you are a doctor :) ).
Hope your BMs will behave, it's Image when they are formed/hard.
Take care sweetie Image

I love weetabix cereal-it always made me toot. I used to eat it when I lived in the NL!
When I get up in the morning I just dread it. I have to get the girls ready for school and then go into the torture chamber.
I know lots of babies at 8 months who still get a lot of their calories from nursing. (my two were like that!)

Pinky -
It would be fun if we lived close. The boys could play together and you and I could vent about our bums while we drank some herbal tea and ate fissure friendly snacks! Image
My son goes to daycare Monday - Friday because I am in school full time. I can't wait until I graduate and I can be with him more. However, he goes to daycare at someone's home and this lady is fabulous! She love kids and has a degree in early childhood education. From the looks of her home, it seems her husband makes enough money that she does not have to watch children - it is just something she really enjoys doing!
My BM's are slimer this week - Thank heavens! I hope your feeling much better from your little scare recently! At least the BM's are getting softer. I will keep praying for you pinky!

Pinky the hot water trick is to get some toilet paper and run it under very hot water and apply it before a BM - it really helps! Afterwards I always had an ice cube in a little bag ready - it kills the pain pretty quickly!
Hope you feel better today!
