Ok you can move now Corsi Image
My botox check up …
I have been examined which was fine, his words – The fissure is a shadow of its former self !
I told him things were not 100% still but considerably improved and the best things have been for a long time – I suggested another shot of Botox which he is happy to do but I will need to go under general anaesthetic again and the appointment for that will not be until January, that is how NHS there is no sooner unless a cancellation comes up !
We spoke about no anaesthetic for the Botox and he said I would hit the roof with the pain if I had no anaesthetic, I told him I could handle the pain with some valuim and he almost agreed until hubby chirped in ! So G/A it as his reason being the anus is more relaxed and therefore he can get a better shot – I did ask where he injected into his reply – to the side of the internal muscle
So folks that is all for now, I am feeling good that I got through an exam with no pain atall ! The shadow of its former self - I like that – A LOT !
Next mission is to get through the festivities…Just me and my cream hoping for the best !

Does make sense one would be more relaxed if asleep for the shot. My Mayo CRS told me that they usually put people to sleep for a Botox shot as it hurts. We have another thing to be thankful for tomorrrow!! Great that you are feeling no pain from the exam. Did he use a scope??

Puuhh...finally!
Tabby, that was WONDERFUL news Image We are in the same situation now Tabby, have to be really careful not to destroy what we have achieved... Not a lot of eating this Christmas Image
Movicol still working for you? What else do you eat during the day? I take Movicol now as well.
It is so strange that that both the CRSs here insist that it is better to do it without local anaesthetic or G/A...???
I have done it twice without any type of anaesthetic, and it wasn't any fun! Hope I don't have to do it again....

Movicol my friend? Today I bled a bit and some pain during BM Image Sore now.
I ate some (very little) bread with the second meal, maybe that is the reason...
I have taken Miralax and that has worked OK together with liquid food, but the last 2 nights I have taken 1 sachet of Movicol and I really don't know.
I don't think this will ever be good as I think I am too tight, and therefore will retear.... Fed up with all this now, so fed up!

Tabby buddy Image - that is just fantastic Image Image Image
he heeeeeeee- oh boy - isn't it something !!!! Image Image
I just wish they can give you that shot sooner Image - I personally will come and strangle them all if they make things worse for you just because you needed to wait Image !!!! BUT, you have your trusty cream buddy and you know the routine , so you can make it Image
Can't they give you just "twilight" instead of GA ??? It is a heavy sedation - I had both of my surgeries with that and if one can be cut-up with that and not feel a thing - why they can not use it for Botox Image
Corsi - I can understand your frustration :( - been there, done that ... So sorry buddy - it is awful feeling Image . But, you wanted to try Botox and give it some more time - that way you would be sure that it did or did not work
for you and never question your decision in the future. Your fissure is MUCH smaller now - but it is still there so no wonder you still have pain.
