Tabby - you can count on me buddy Image !!! Just stay in a corner and do this Image and I will do this :cat02: and this Image to them and than we both will Image Image he he !!! Only 4 more weeks buddy :sprinkleheart: and I am sure that it is going to be your last Botox Image
Yes- maybe they will just use less of GA or something ! Twilight they use here VERY often for many procedures (for colonoscopy too). They give us something by the IV and it makes us sleep and relax in the most wonderful way LOL - I woke up both times smiling LOL- maybe it makes patients feel too good Image Image so they are afraid we might start coming to the hospitals during night and raid the reserves Image
Best of luck buddy Image

Corsi,
My GI doc told me I could take as much as I need of Miralax. I am currently taking about a sachet and a half daily.

Tabby, twilight is inbetween sleep and unconsiousness.patient is sedated but maynot be unconsiousness.its like iv sedation.local anaesthetic is also given to the area so that the patient doesnt feel the pain.most of the drugs are the same like they use in GA but in lower doses.if the sedation is less, one can be awake but maynot remember anything on waking up.its quite confusing.hope im clear.

I was completely "knocked out " LOL - I spent time in the recovery room to wake up - that is "how deep" in my dreams I was Image Yes, they absolutely can make you semi-conscious if it is necessary for the certain procedures or can put you into deep sleep depending of how much they administer. I also think that since I do not even use alcohol on regular bases or any other drugs that it had such immediate and complete effect on me Image BUT, I also told my anesthesiologist every time that I want to be "out" completely and they honored my wish. They would "wink" at me and just let it drip even before it was time for it LOL. I LOVED them for that so much - I tried to find first one to send him "thank you" note but surgi-center was of no help with informations so I gave up. In my next life I will marry anesthesiologist Image so I can have "some of that" on "as needed" bases Image Would come handy so many times in my life Image
