Yeah, I wish we all could be like Buttmachine and ride off into the sunset on our bikes.
Do you think you are better than you were before the surgery?
I am starting to believe that a lot of the pain is from an inflammation response that is out of control. Have you tried anti-inflams for it like Motrin or even Celebrex? I take Celebrex (prescription) and have noticed a decrease in pain since being on it.

Yes I feel better. No more dull ache, looser down there, fart without problem etc
I can clearly feel the burning is coming from the fissure itself. Asked my CRS on the check up if I had inflammation and he said very little...
Isn`t Motrin and Celebrex just painkillers?

No, they are anti-inflammatories which have the result of reducing pain but are also good for general inflammation.
I wonder if it is the poop that makes it burn? Sometimes I have to use a q-tip (cotton swab) and clean in that area to make sure there isn't any debris left behind in my be-hind.

It can't hurt to check and see if your diet is too acidic.

Hei Lars
I agree, try vaseline and also watch your diet. Acidic food equals burning for me...chili is just as fun!
Have you started working, and do you sit a lot? Be careful Lars and take care :)
How is your new house?

Hi all
Life is not good. I am not getting any better and I am very down about this... Not feeling good enough to hang around here... I just get depressed. Sorry all :(
Having bleeding about once a week no matter what...Have an appointment on Friday with my CRS. Will ask about a colostomi since the last resort option for me has failed :(
