Maybe I used the incorrect term for the list! I am disappointed that no one has read what I posted on the "Just for Fun" thread. Kim, I have come a long way since I asked you the first question after I joined this group. Thanks in large part to all of your good advice and instruction. Image

Has the doctor spoke specifically about LIS surgery? It sure seems warranted in this situation? But I guess before surgery they want to make sure the infection is at bay.
Try either the MOM or even prune juice and let us know how it goes.
Don't worry about talking about other butt issues. It is all relative. I don't have AF any more but I do have other problems that I talk about and no one has kicked me off. (But hey, I am admin, what are they gonna do?)
I'll add some v-day smilies soon!

At least you are cleared out and next time won't be so dramatic. At least you got over that hurdle. Corsi was mentioning she puts she cream on before she goes potty-maybe that would help you too to kind of preempt the spasms a bit?
Have the docs given you any lidocaine? That can numb the butt up too. It might be over the counter over there.

Dazzy,
I am glad that you had a bm. They told me at Mayos that there are some people who go 3 weeks w/o a bm, which I find hard to believe. A lady who gives me facials told me she goes about every 5 days when she is on vacation, if that makes you feel any better. Now the trick is for you to keep things soft and not get into that same predicament again!
