I meant to tell you that you might want to ask for extended release tramadol. It might give you better pain coverage. Also aloe vera helps with constipation for future reference.

Best of luck Dazzy, I hope they sort everything out for you.
Here in England they have discontinued lidocaine with no substitute for it!! Might be different in Scotland though!
Your kids are so cute!

a very soft hello to everyone...
well i went in on wednesday, and was put under a crs called mr smith, tabby might know him, youngish kinda man, very pleasant.
well a soon as he inspected me he just went ouch perinieum absess, absess betwen aunus and scrotum
so after many bloods taken, doctors, nurses etc, i was told i was booked for surgery at 12.00pm tursday.
kool great i was told 1/2-3/4 hrs there nd back to hosiptal ward, with 2/3 healn time.
well it never went tat way, went down at 10.15 am bak to hospital ward att 3.15, the procedure not that simple.
they had to cut 5 cm down into my perianal area, then go in with a scope to find a fistula.... wtf a fistula... turn out the absess had made a tunnel like thing and that had attached to part of my bowel, whch i dont know. but then they had to cut this tunnel at both ends and lay it flat and glue it or something, down like a butterfly shape,
my bowel had pus, sitting in it, omg , the got rid of that, then had to awash me out, to try nd cleean up best they could.
then they had to fix in a drain tube from my bowel out through what i think is my preianal area betwwen my legs,
i think ive got that right, my mind was in stupid land, just couldnt believe what was being said...
got home today 5.45 pm all padded up, and walking like a duck, or should i say waddling.
distric nurse has to come in everyday for 4-5 weeks to dress where te cut into me, as its an open wound ,,which needs to be unpacked, ten repacked every 24 hrs and it has to heal inside outwards, .
the nurse took out the 1st packing b4 i came home,
Image ffs no painkillers, just paracetamol Image
then repack it again man i was in pain,
and now every day this has to happen omg, ffs omg,
i go back for a mri scan in 6 weeks nd back to see mt smith in 8 to disscuss the scan to see if any more needs doing or if this has been successful.
ive all this stuff, pads to wear, bed pads to sleep on,sit on, and ehh should i wantt to go out once things start to feel better, bloody nappies to wear i ask u bloody nappies, looks like its going to be a long 8 weeks cooked up, i aint going nowhere lol, it looks like my bum has had a an overdose of botex ffs, with swelling, nd pads, ,
i asked for stronger painillers but ninewells said no, i need to be able to tell the difference in this pain, and reinfected pain should that happen.... scarey thoughts ffs.
oh nd my fissures there, there, and the scope never helped them, but cant put on anoheal i gotta stop that til this get the ok, all in all long week, might catch on to a long yr ahead.....
i asked for valium wen i was oot of it, i cant remember lol, oh well guess its time to change the pad, ive tried to update best i can, will look over this in half hr, nd if ive forgootten anything i shall telll,
sorry aain about te poor english and grammar guys
love you all from
dazzy duck (as my mate called me)
