In my aera of the country, SoCal, Dulcolax has their own docusate sodium product. This is what I use. Is that what your Dr. recommended or was it the laxative product?

Common sorrel, also known as spinach dock and either ambada bhaji or gongoora in Indian cuisine, is a perennial herb that is cultivated as a leaf vegetable. Its one of the best natural remedies i have came across. Eat it in the dinner and see the difference in the morning.

It's also yummy. Kind of lemony, if I'm thinking of the same plant. It goes well in salads or on sandwiches and is a common herb for seasoning soups. I grow it in my front yard. The leaves are about as big as donkey's ears.

I am also taking green tea with peppermint in it as it is possible that the anal lining may be sensitive to some spicy things that we generally eat. Once it sensitive than the sphincter may become inflamed, so i take peppermint tea so that i can get rid of the sensitivity of the sphincter muscles.

Sorry this is a necro post but I really enjoy reading this kind of post because it seems certain treatment doesn't work for everyone.
I am going to try this tonight.
The only thing I probably won't do is Palmer's Cocoabutter oil. I have used it on my stretch mark but for some reasons, IT BURNS me.. very itchy. I am not sure why that is.

I tried one of those topical anesthetic sprays early on, and the pain it caused was excruciating.
If you do try it I suggest spraying just a bit of it on a tissue or q-tip and just applying it on a very small area first.
But, it is really interesting to get to read what works for different people, and is a good reminder that no two bottoms are alike . : )
