I hate feeling moisture on my bottom. I like to keep things feeling dry all day. Any suggestions?

I would use baby powder-I know quite a few people who use this to help combat chaffing and it works.

I used talc after my surgery, but not before -- only because I had a tremendous healing itch...

i blow dry after every shower there.
then i add a thin application of palmers cocoa butter with vitamin e.
i don't see a problem with talc as long as it is hypo-allergenic and scent-free. you want less additives in there so it won't irritate the fissure if it travels down to it!
you can also moisturize with the aloe vera plant by rubbing the internal gel of the plant by getting some on your finger.

I don't think this would hurt for men to use... but I sprinkle Talc-free Vagisil Powder in my panties... It helps prevent the wetness... and is meant for that area anyway... It helps me... but I don't put it directly on my backside, just sprinkle it in my undies...
