Had my "operation" on 04.11.

Postby Val76 » 06 Nov 2011, 09:11

Hello,
like I posted before I went to hospital on 03.11.
The CRS tried to do an exame, but because of the cramb it wasn`t possible to have a look inside.
So they decided to put me sleeping the next day to do the exame and then to decide further proceeding.
Afterwards the CRS told me that I have no deep fissures, "only" many skin breaks. That`s why
they decided to cut anything and only did a dilitation (is it spelled like this in English ?).
He said my muscle has such a strong cramb that it would be possible " to take out nails of the wall" with it !
Further my pelvic floor has also crambs.
He recommended to do the dilitation also in home Image and to do a special physiotherapy.
I hope this will help finally, but I am not so sure about it !

Hi,
I hope that the physiotherapy will help you. I think (though am not totally sure) that cherylk healed with physiotherapy after her visit/s to Mayo Clinic. I think there is a post that she made about this, but don't know how to find it.
Nice to know that our spasms/cramps have some use Image

Hi again Val76,
Found cherylk's link! There is also a link that she has put there to some more information. As far as I know, cherylk has come out very well from this, and healed.

Thank you for that link ! It was very interesting to read.
It seems like she had the same problem that I have: a pelvic floor dysfunction.
But my sphincter does have also a spasm. That`s why they decided to dilate it.
I noticed that I have the same symptoms after the op like many people describing here after LIS: the anal canal and the outside seems to be sore and sometimes I have the feeling like there are little needles, but the rest is fine as yet. Hopefully it was successfull...
