I am new to the forum. Quick question, how long did you all have to stay out of work after the surgery? I was just taking one day, but some of you are saying you have been off of work for weeks. Any help would be great.

hi there, one day? U r a hero! From the post i read from here, the least is getting to work on the third day (if i didn't remember wrongly). If your work allows, why don't you take a few days off or probably a week? It's best to stay off your butt after surgery to allow pressure off your incision and fissure. It won't help or probably hinder your healing if you keep walking/sitting down.

I look at it this way, I appreciate my job, but I need my health. I am taking a week off and going back 1/2 days the next week, which is only 3 days due to Thkgvg. Then planning to go back full the next week. The procedure is only a few minutes, but is still a major stress to the body. Keep that in mind and allow for the healing.
