Moviprep with Anal Fissure - is it going to sting?

Postby Jenastro » 28 Jun 2012, 03:26

I have to take Moviprep on Monday as I am having a flexi sig on Tuesday. I have anal fissures and have been using GTN for 6 months. I have concerns about it making me feel ill and not being able to keep it down, but mainly I'm worried about the watery bms I've been told I can expect. Specifically - is it going to sting like hell??? If it's going to sting is there anything I can do for the pain? I take colpermin tablets when I need to and they are effective at calming my ibs but the stinging at the other end is too painful so I try to manage without them.
