Does anyone on this forum have a fistual vs a fissure? Some of the threads I'm reading here suggest that you have the former.

I think the site was originally set up for Fissure sufferers (I might be wrong there - so someone please correct me if I'm wrong!! :) )....but due to the overwhelming interest from fistula sufferers, new strings were added for fistula sufferers to relate too. There seems to be a real mixture of fissure/ fistula posts (and others too increasingly - for those suffering with hemorroids & various other anal issues) I think it's great for ANYONE with an issue in the anal area and there's such a huge support network. It's a fantastic site.....
The other thing I've noticed since I've been on the site (and that's about 8 months now) is the increase in "Fistula" members. I noticed a few veteran members (with great advice) but within the last few months, there seems to be a lot more of us than I thought! We seem to be growing!.....
Everyone is welcomed on this site no matter what anal problem they are going through
