AF friendly places to eat in Orlando FL.

Postby owmybum » 18 Oct 2012, 05:40

So I am off on holiday in a couple of weeks to Orlando, and wanted to know if there were any family friendly places to eat where I can get good healthy food, as opposed to junk!
I have worked really hard to get my fissure back under controll using good diet and don't want to blow it on holl and have to go round the parks in agony! I don't want to be mistaken for a waddling Disney carachter! Image

Hopefully someone local to Orlando can give you some specific suggestions, but in general, most places nowadays have pretty safe choices, including salads and veggies, and even fast food places have salads, fruit, and even sweet potatoes. You could also scout out places that make fruit smoothies, and fresh juice bars, etc., as well as a grocery store to stock up on some safe items and snacks.
I hope you have a great time!

I live in Miami but I know Orlando is full of buffet style restaurants and some actually have a decent salad bar/ veggie bar. Most restaurants let u scope out their buffet before you pay. Sweet Tomatoes buffet is pretty good. I'd say its pretty good for us "fissuries". Weather should be a lot better in a couple weeks..heat should be getting more tolerable..hopefully nice and breezy very soon. October and November are great months to come to Florida. Hope u have a wonderful time!
