Things are still going quite good. I've felt very comfortable the last couple days I've noticed. Things feel relaxed and somewhat tingly which tells me there is lots of blood getting there. Excited for Saturday when I normally take a look.
I try to avoid checking constantly as it could easily be an obsession and a constant annoyance/stress to the area.
I also must say that Miralax is an amazing product. I've been doing one dose a day for the last month and I've only had comfortable BMs. I had issues with them being too loose on 2 doses a day or 1 dose split in half twice a day. I also use docustate sodium capsules with meals I think would be harder to digest and it seems to keep things stable. I've been eating whatever I want without problem for awhile now. That being said I do eat healthy. Oats, apples, bananas (one only a day), rice etc.

Something odd has happened. My ass is really really itchy and all sorts of little white bumps. Pretty sure it's inflamed hair follicles. Might be the diltazem.
I normally shave the area for hygiene reasons but I'mma stop as I might have irritated it. Or diltazen is irritating it bt hey, if it heals the fissure so be it.

Sounds to me like its the diltiazem itch!
I developed it after using it for around 7 months, I had to stop using it in the end it became so sore.
You seem tobe progressing along nicely though... That's great!

Weird how after 7 months it just started! I think I was using too much.
Picture day! The 'white head' on the fissure is gone. It looks really calm and seems to be smaller week over week.
Called and canceled appointment for next Friday so I can get more healing time. I think the botox has worked. Fingers crossed!

Another really good few days. Didn't use the washroom from Friday to today and today was really comfortable. In looking at the fissure yesterday it looked really calm and small. I see a major difference every few days when I look.

Had a bit of a reset today... ate a lot of food last night. Pressure sure I might've pushed a bit when going. Smidge of blood. I think it wasn't from fissure though. Injection site perhaps.. In taking a peek things look calm and its not sore to the touch.

One month today.
So far my opinion is it's been quite successful. It's difficult to tell how successful yet as the first while was just healing up from the 5-10 injection points and the fissure being really inflamed after the injections.
I've really had no bad side effects. I'd say the worse one is that I can't control the passing of gas overly well. It's an odd feeling as I can feel the muscle I just don't really have any fine muscle control.
I do feel that I'm at the point now where the fissure is better then it was prior to the procedure. The next few weeks/month will really tell if this has been successful as it's not that far away from being healed.

So far it is!
Had the usual saturday picture day. it's almost impossible to notice in pictures now. When I looked today it was insanely small. I can almost not detect it.
