Interesting study of patients whose fissure failed to heal with LIS. The results of this study reinforce the importance of having a skilled, experienced, board certified surgeon perform the surgery.

Very interesting. I still haven't healed fully and it's been about 5 months since I had LIS. When I asked my surgeon why it hadn't healed he actually said that he may not have cut enough because he didn't want to risk incontinence.
