- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

Day 104 on nitro
Had two good soft BMs this morning, and the second felt like passing razor blades. Again it feels like when this all just started. Severe spasms and burning.
Botox in 3 days. Can't wait!
- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

Does all antiotics typically make a person constipated? I am taking 2 for an absess and i dont know if i should increase my miralax dose????

JHH, sorry i posted on your board, but you had mentioned the penicillin a couple times so thought it was relevant.... I really hope the botox works wonders for u and puts and end to your misery! Good luck....

Hendricks get some good pro biotics in you to. Combat the antibiotics 'loads of water

Hi mate. Penicillin usually causes diarrhea when you take it, but it also wipes out your gutt bacteria. For me that caused stools to be harder when I stopped penicillin.
Like richibeno wrote, remember to get some probiotics.

Had botox on june 5th after more than 100 days on ointments.
