Going commando

Postby Asore Arse » 08 Jun 2013, 02:48

Hi All
I was finding that my knickers would scrunch up my arse when sleeping in bed, I feared this would rub and aggravate my fissure......so I have been going commando in bed, and I have to say it feels a lot better for my backside..... So this may be something you might like to try..... Image

I really need every ones suggestions, whats the best choice? I have a wedding to go to ( my niece's wedding) this Sunday at about 5:00 p.m. Go, don't go..I'm lost. The pain, standing, sitting..it doesn't matter,it hurts.
Now today is Saturday..I last ate yesterday..the BM with spot bleeding plus pain for several hours later, I'm sure you all know the agonizing drill.
I still get some pain, spasms, gas and its hard to stand or walk because of where the fissure is (at the 5:00 position).
My brother said, "If you can't go, then you can't, you will have to play it by ear". It breaks my heart, and wright now the tears are falling. Relatives are coming in to town (its my older sisters daughter that's getting married)this morning or have arrived.
I'm just so lost..don't know what to to do..My family are asking me , are you going, will you be well enough. I can't see my self sitting at my table (on an angle. to try to get comfortable) and only having chicken soup. That's why I'm trying not to eat today only, almond milk, teas, chicken broth and lots of water. It hurts to say I may not be able to go..Please..what to to do..
I'm so torn ed up..No pun intended..I can't type any more, between all the tears and I have to lay down now.

Aww sweetie take a deep breath... Do not feel bad about not going if you don't feel we'll enough. God knows how painful and uncomfortable this can be, maybe staying home and relaxing, letting yourself heal might be the best for you. If you feel bad about not going though maybe you can take a pain reliever and just go to the ceremony part then go home. That's probably what I would do

go to your nearest chemist and get some preperation h ointment/cream and the prep h wipes aswell they will take the stinging away for you especially after a bowl movement! ... or try get some rectogesic (not sure of spelling) ointment this will get rid of the spasms also get some fibre drinks if you can. and put vaseline up and around there before a bowl movement this will help alot if you havent already tried all these. hope something i mentioned helps

Your diet seems to have very little fiber. A liquid diet is not right for a six feet colon. You need to eat lots of broccoli and carrots (both cooked) with your chicken soup. Also fruit juices (with pulp), say Musk Melon or Honey Dew would help too.
Take two stool softener pills before going to bed and drink warm water. Yes, as mentioned above, a painkiller pill and preparation H ointment will also do good for a smooth BM.
Hope you do well by tomorrow evening and be able to attend the wedding.

I had posted this on Saintkilledher's thread a couple weeks ago. I've been going commando at all times for weeks and I'm not having the constant irritation/soreness I was experiencing. It helps that I'm female and can wear dresses :D . When it was cool, I wore tights with dresses/skirts and when it got warmer, I wore longer dresses, still with no undies. It was a weird feeling to be so "free" but I got used to it. I recently started wearing trousers again. But I wear tights under them, not knickers. The tights don't ride up like knickers do.
Please go-away, let us know what you decided to do. We all know what it's like to have to miss out on something because of this wretched condition.

thank you Paisley and every one else.. I did go and luckily no pain, even danced a little bit, lol.
they offered me a separate bowel of chicken broth and I had a vegetable plate with humus. Avoided all the other rich foods and was able to have the fruit from the sweet table. thank you again Image .. like we all do..On day at a time.

That's fabulous, Please go-away! No pain and no stress of either not eating or going off your fissure-friendly diet. I find that going out and being 'normal' helps take my mind off my butt and improves my overall attitude. Hopefully, things will improve for you.
