All the best to you, OMB!! Thinking of you, and every day is one day gone, and one day closer to this all being just a memory. :)

owmybum, sugar you are just doing fine, remember somebody just manipulated you down there, you got also injections so you are going to be sore for a while, just rest and take your time things will get better and not forget to take your pain killers if needed, just surrender yourself to comfort and let the healing begin.
Don't rush take your time.Image

Day 3
Bm today was very soft.. Maybe I need to adjust the movicol. I normally take 1 dose in the morn and 1/2 at night.. But since the op have been having 1 morn and 1 at night. Lets just say I nearly didn't make it... But am so numb I didn't realise!! Image
Still feel very sore and stingy... Yes Rachael.... The cheese grater effect! Am thinking I may just put a dab of sudocream on later??
Still feel weak after the anaesthetic too..... I really don't get on with them atall.. Still feel like I could sleep and sleep!
I am eating light. Yoghurt, veg soup, chicken and veg, that sort of thing... And making sure I drink plenty.
I just really want this to work.... I need an end to the last two years of living with a fissure. I will do everything I can to aid myself in that recovery.

Hi OMB,
Hopefully in a few days things will start to improve and you can relax a bit. It can take a while for things to settle down after botox first time for me was 10 days and second time was near 2 wks.
Im same as you was so sick after anaesthetic blood pressure dropped so low they kept me for two nights i was sort of glad as never would have managed those first two days at home. It really takes a lot out of you i find even having a shower i get breathless but im sure in couple days we will be back to normal.
I wish you the very best over the coming wks take care of yourself x

Hi OMB,
Glad to hear your not in too much pain, its still very early days. Are you still feeling weak from the anesthetic? I still feel rotten at times form it. I really hope the botox works for you it really helped me in the beginning until i forgot i ever had a fissure & started eating & drinking badly and bang the rest as they say is history. Its so important to keep up with the diet etc i know that now.
