Butt blog update: Day 41
After a horrendous nights sleep, rain and doggie snoring, I awoke and had a BM. Was painless and easy.
I've only had one today, one yesterday too. A pattern is emerging that if I have only 1 a day, the next will be early in the morning.
Although it might be to do with it now being the girly time of the month. Right you ovaries... Settle down or we'll be having words!
I had a very odd shooting sharp pain in my butt today while walking. Stopped me in my tracks. I also have a bit of discomfort down there when Im in certain positions. Bending over and such. It's times like this where you're reminded that you've had surgery only 6 weeks ago. Need to reel it back in a bit I think.
Still on 3 movicols. Flaxseed and wheatabix. 5 litres of water throughout the day. The odd chocolate bar too. I even ate some cheese today. Back over to look after the doggies now.

Well done..1 BM a day, thats the way forward. Hope that keeps up for you. Makes life so much easier when you can get all that over and done with in the morning.
I think your shooting pains are maybe a sign to let you know you mustn't over do things after your op, as you say, 6 weeks is nothing really.
I was amazed to see you drink 5 litres of water a day, blimey I drink 3 litres now and thought that was a lot! Is this what you were advised to drink or just what you have worked out your body needs?
I had a really good day, started with a non glass BM, and then I decided I would try to drive as I havent been able to sit for weeks. I managed it, and when I got to the old couples I was going to, I was soo excited that I had driven again, I tripped over his oxygen tube and almost pulled his mask & face off!!
Twenty minutes later I also managed to whack him in the knee with the hoover whilst hovering round his chair!! Must learn not to get so excited!
Bless his cotton sox, he did say not to worry and that he had been through worse in the war!!

glad the dogs are keeping you company while on the loo. lol. my cat Sterling, has to be in the washroom with me, or she get's pissy.

Butt Blog update: Day 42 - 6weeks ago today
Well I made it six weeks. I've had 7 consecutive days of no pain or blood while pooping. Before that I had 2 days of a slight pain. And before that I had 10 consecutive days of no pain or blood.
Had a BM early this morning, it felt very hard and was probably the biggest I've had since before my op. No real pain to moan about I guess. I was worried before, during and after. And it didn't help having one of the dogs sat at the door staring at me. "Shooo, I'm tryin to poo". Ovaries have something to do with this definitely. Those little blooming cheeky monkeys!
Luckily it was all fine. I then soaked myself with the tap for the 2nd day running as the water was turned off for the plumber at the house I'm sitting. Great start the the day.
Had another BM in work, no fly in the room with me this time. Another good BM.
I'm also sick of my office chair (my last one was revoked as it was recalled for quality for the gas hydraulics exploding (that wouldn't be good for a fissure fighter!!)
I decided to get an ergonomic pillow and sat on it with my butt hanging off the back of it. Heaven I tell you! People think I have a bad back - little do they know that my butt is asleep with Botox!! Mwahahaha.
Went for a long walk through the forest with my friend, up and down trails, was concerned at first but actually I had no pain, even when i needed to jump down a little bank to stop the dog pulling my friend arse first, no issues! Had a bit of irritation at the end but I'm putting that down to the heat.
Other than that Im good. I'm going to have a cookie today too! Fissure is definitely feeling better.

You have certainly earnt that cookie, hope it was worth the wait.

That's the way to fight your fissures. We are proud of your progress and it seems you are not going to let anything stop you.... no not dogs giving you the eye or chairs exploding or you having to jump down an embankment WOW!!! (lol)
Keep up the good work, keep learning what your body needs for soft bm's when you no longer rely on the movicol. And now all we ask is for you to try to give us at least a few more weeks of soft poops, then we'll go from there ok :)  .  Thanks....

I.m watching my cat take a dump in her litter box, you know we can learn from our pets.lol.
As she pooping ,she starts to close her eyes and sway her head back and forth, just picture Steve Wonder, it's so hilarious.

We don't have a pooch here but I do have a very inquisitive 6 year old, who likes nothing more than to sit and have a chat with me in the bathroom whilst I'm trying to perform!
I don't shoo her out generally, unless I fear the BM might be a little more challenging & I need a bit more concentration on the event (!) because we're all pretty open in our household and a chat with someone whilst on the loo is pretty normal. It's a bit disconcerting however that I've now caught her trying to adopt her own squat positioning!! That's a tricky one - In my experience that it's actually a more natural positioning, do you encourage it? ! LOL......
How do dogs poop ? ( they kind of bend their bums down a bit from an upright position I guess???) I'd love to be able to read their minds when they sit watching us do this stuff!!
Please - Your Stevie Wonder cat can teach us a lot I think!! (obviously very comfortable with the whole process!)

Your beating those ugly monsters at long last :) so glad your doing well. I have not tried a long walk yet as last time which was when i had botox i got terrible pressure up my backside as if someone was trying to push a baseball bat up there it only last 5min max but it wasnt nice. I'm waiting till i see my crs nx wk before i attempt a long walk.
As for the doggies watching mine do it all the time
