baby food!!!!

Postby val » 04 Jan 2008, 11:04

I've just bought loads of little tins of pureed apple baby food and its lovely! I remember trying it when I was trying to get my grandaughter to eat it-you know the scene, one for baby, one for nanny, game!
But its smooth, and gentle on the tummy, and I've had about 4 or 5 each day, and they seemed to have helped with soft BM's.
Just thought I'd mention it!! :D

Thanks for the tip. You know sometimes I eat baby food prunes. It is kind of sweet and doesn't taste funky. I actually make brownies with them and use that instead of oil for a healthier snack.

Thats a good idea, I'll have a lookout for those-tinned prunes are disgusting and prune juice has me in the bathroom for hours! They sound a good alternative!

When I make the brownies I refer to it as my secret ingredient because no one want to eat it when I say it has baby food in it!

Right, we've just upped the sales of the baby-food market, we need advertising money from them!!
I'm not surprised you keep it a secret Lecia, my family wouldn't eat it either if they knew that!

mmmm i love pitted prunes. for me, they are the new lindt chocolate truffle!
it's amazing that once i ate my seaweed salad for lunch every day this week, my BMs are nice and soft, like the soft-serve ice cream without freezing my ass!
i guess one of my goals now is to have seaweed salad in my diet every day.
but lecia, i am sure your brownies would still be preferred to my seaweed salad any day :-)
