Thanks what a great post, and what a persistent chap to chase down the cause of his issues. I sent him a PM as I'd love to chat, if anyone has his email address, I'd be grateful if you could ping him.

The procedure is quite unpleasant. I took 1 hours to lay into chamber. Feeling increasing and decreasing pressure.
Also there was head dizziness during procedure and about 10 mins after.

They don't have any TV or music inside, so you just lay 1 hours, or can sleep. I was a bit nervous, but hopefully it was only reason being there first time. Specialist told that I may see improvements after 5 sessions. And first one I had only with pressure 1.4 atmosphere, next session will be with increase pressure, it can be up to 2 atmospheres, which is quite frightening as I fill my tires in car with 2.2!! LOL

Igrik, how is this procedure supposed to work? Is it just increase of oxygen to the wound?
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

Yes, that is the main idea. Not sure if it will help to be honest.

But I decided to do something instead of doing nothing. So attempting something more.

Hi Igrik,

Is this therapy working for you? Does the hemorrhoid surgery wound feel any different? I am about to spend alot of money pursuing this, and wanted to know if you find it working?

Hello,

I had 7 sessions so far, and after first one used to them, no stress or claustrophobia. Overall this procedure is quite good, and you are feeling energy full and happy after it. :)

As per wound, it didn't do miracle and it still is not closed with skin, but going to loo and and pain levels are reduced. Also as per wife check wound start to get from the bounds/edges of it down to unhealed ulcer. Before there was definite wall around ulcer making border between normal skin and wound..

All this makes me feel better, I believe it is helping. I will have 6 session more this week. So there will be 13 in total. Specialist told that I can repeat this after a month. In parallel to reduce pain and related spasms I take small part of ibuprofen after each BM, so try to reduce spasms and therefore rich with oxygen blood flow.

I will post more when I finish therapy
