Quick update after Aug 13th LIS

Postby inneedofahealing » 30 Aug 2013, 16:40

Hello Everyone! I haven't posted in a while so I wanted to come and do a quick update. Everything has been going great! Today my bum was a little itchy after my bm but that is about it. I have been eating pretty normal lately but am about to return to a stricter diet again. I have been taking MOM every night but have forgotten a few nights. The next day I would still go without pain. I am starting to think that I am addicted to the Milk Of Mag so I plan to wean myself off of it and replace it with something natural like prune juice. I am so excited about being pain free and am happy that I had the surgery. I know the recurrence rate is low but I still wonder if those muscle tighten back up over time. I plan to speak to my surgeon about that. Good day folks :D

That's great news inneedofhealing! Congrats! Hopefully this is the end of your fissure battle. Keep us posted on what your surgeon says. I'm curious about that too. All the best! :)
