37 days post Apollo 13 and 4 days post Discovery, Captain's Log..
*Star Trek music plays*
The drainage, it's back! Frm Discovery, whew! A little blood and a little yellow stuff, don't knw wht tht yellow stuff is but it must be doing somethng good..
As expected, thought I was over this but it's frm the left.. As ETO told me before, tht's normal post op..
O_o
Apollo 13 is healing fine and the nurse says I don't even need to dress the area anymore.. Woohoo!
Still made her do it, I'm kinda funny tht way.. A bit of a clean freak..
*So sue me*
•_•
Whn she's cleaning the area and touches a spot it makes me scream, jeeez! It's raw in there! Omg! Just for a while!
No BM's for today but my diet has gone straight back to soups and fruits post op so tht's kicking in abt now..
Some really bad weather is headed this way so I need to charge my phone in case the power goes out..
All in all, on the road to recovery, it's bumpy but thanks to you guys and SDJ, it's a lot easier!

YeA he removed a cleaned out abscess an put in a drain Seton think he wanted abscess gone first,
as soon as he saw the abscess,he fitted me in for a quick op,to remove it and clean it all out ,left with a nice hole ,and a fistula, itshealing ok ,looks like early dec for the fistula op,may a look inside earlier,
what was your op zee ,will your seton come out soon ,it sounds like a cutting seton if your crs tightens it,

38 days post Apollo 13 and 5 days post Discovery..
Visit to my CRS today..
He always seems so calm and always in control.. Tht's a good quality whn lookng for a CRS.. Just remember tht.. They knw me by name, his staff.. Whn I walk into the Clinic.. "Hey Zee, come on in.." Tht's comforting..

So, Apollo 13, at 33 days post op (whn he went in to check the Seton) is healing well on the inside.. The Seton was removed and area cleaned.. Were it not for Discovery, I'd be almost rdy for launch.. Nothing more needs to be done with Apollo 13.. Excellent news! Woohoo!
\'O_O'/
So he also confirmed, Discovery was another Fistula.. Smaller wound site.. Also, the tract was much lower on the Spinchter.. All good, so far.. BUT..
He placed another Cutting Seton in.. His reasoning, if it was just one Fistula, Discovery, alone.. It wasn't necessary.. But he prefers to err on the side of caution..
O_o
Can't argue if someone has my best interest at heart whn it comes to holding my poo..
All in all..
Coming to come..
Next visit with him is 2012-10-30 12:30pm..
Continue daily dressings..
How's your end Rich?!

Yea OK zee 'all healing OK nurse checked it today said it still doing OK
Couple of weeks hope the abscess wound will be good
Still feels sore '
I thiknk the Seton feels sore if I move quick
Getting better every day '
Zee so you have a new cutting Seton in 13 so its slowly cutting away at the sphicter'did you have a high fistula or did it go a long way into the sphincter
Hope your ok

Wht's your day count like Rich?!
I have no idea whn you did it! Tht's excellent news! Still continuing Sitz baths, right?! Clean, clean, clean, clean and pristine.. Remember, tht's our motto!
No Rich! No Seton in Apollo 13 anymore! Woohoo! Only one in Discovery..
Cutting Seton..
Apollo 13 was borderline, so midway and Discovery is low on the Spinchter..
The Seton is on Discovery!

Yea when the abscess was drained they found the fistula tract so they put in a Seton to help drain and clean the infection, in A couple of months I have another op to get rid of the fistula tract 'a fistulotomy' when they lay open the fistula
