Re: New Posting Place for QueenofPain

when I tried the nitro(I was allergic to it) I tried a q tip, but was afraid of jabbing it in the wrong place and re-injuring the fissure! With regard to only using it once a day, our diltiazem over here says to only use it twice a day, but I got better results using it four times a day, like the US...

Re: Aloe Ointment

I use wheatgerm oil which is really good, and also have tried live natural yoghurt which is very cold and soothing.

Re: diltiazem question

Thanks Lecia! You always seem to put things back into perspective. I was feeling SO depressed these last couple of days and absoluteley cursing myself for eating badly the other day, but you all seem to have had the same problems and still healed. I kept wondering if I should consider the surgery be...

Re: diltiazem question

Thanks Kim!
Isn't it just so awful when you think you've got better and then this happens? Its like its trying to tell me not to forget its there! Its like some kind of demon! Did that happen to you too? How many setbacks did you have?

Re: diltiazem question

I thought last week it was a healing itch, but then Fissulyna said she had read that diltizem makes the blood vessels expand and itch(something like that, I get it all wrong!!) but I did notice that the diltiazem was making it itch and it didn't when I didn't use it so often. Today though, I feel I'...

Re: diltiazem question

I stopped taking the valium, in fact, looking back, I've stopped doing a lot of the things I used to, like the wheatgerm oil. I even stopped taking the omega 3 oils for some reason. I really wish I had just stuck to it all now!
Still, we live and learn, I suppose!!

Re: retear?

http://r15.imgfast.net/users/1514/24/56/02/smiles/th_thank.gif thanks everyone! I haven't had any bleeding for a few months, so it freaked me out, especially as I thought it was healing. I think I got a bit complacent-Iused to use the wheatgerm oil and take the valium, but then just stopped doing t...

Re: Sitting sucks!!!!

I bought a cushion in a mobility shop. They had a choice of cushions with different bits cut out-the one they reccommended was a square one with like a rocket kind of shape cut out. Its really comfy and helps a lot.

Re: my story / looking for advice

Hi there! I think it is possible to heal without surgery, as some on the boardhave, with diets and/or the blood pressure creams-you could always try nitro if diltiazem gave you a rash. Up until today, I have been getting better slowly with just diets and flaxoil, aloe vera, acidophilus and the dilti...

retear?

We went out to dinner last night, and I thought as I was getting better, a prawn risotto wouldn't do much harm. I don't know whether it was because of that , but this morning when I went to the loo, I felt the fissure kind of stretch or something and then there was blood again. Seeing as the bleedin...
