Re: skin tags

So is it better to have pain from the skin tag? Can it still hurt even if the fissure is healed/healing? Does it feel more like a really bad ache? Like a toothache, sort of!

Re: Anoheal in the UK

I asked my doctor to refer me to a private hospital- the Nuffield, because I have had 2 very traumatic experiences with our NHS system, but you can be refferred on the NHS by the doctor, and I don't think it takes too long to wait .My appointment costЈ120, but I have a health insurance that pays 75%...

Re: skin tags

How do you know if the pain is coming from the skin tag or the fissure? Is there a difference in the pain? I thought mine was healing nicely but its been hurting again the last couple of days, and also the opposite side. Any ideas?

Re: Anoheal in the UK

My CRS over here in the UK said that if the LIS didn't work, they could put in a flap of skin over it. I didn't really know what he meant, and I'm squeamish and didn't want to know anyway, so I didn't ask him to explain, but it sounds like the same thing. The anohealreally helped, even when the blee...

Re: manuka honey

My chiropodist told me to put tea tree oil on my sons verrucae, so I thought it would be very srong for a fissure, or does it not sting? I use wheatgermoil, its brilliant stuff, I was putting it on about 4 times a day, but lapsed a bit and forgot and now its worse, but I've done loads of daft stuff ...

Re: OMG I hate this AF.....

its a good thing we all seem to have understanding husbands/partners. I've only attempted "it" twice in the past 5 months, it didn't hurt at the time, although it put me off because I thought it was going to! My poor husband is terrified of hurting me so he's given up!! :( I suppose we all...

Re: I need help.

I found that ice wrapped in a tiny plastic bag, just after a BM helped greatly, then getting in a hot bath, also sitting on a hot water bottle. The creams and supplements help, and also trying to relax, and accept it takes a long time to heal. I kept thinking at first that it would be healed in a fe...

Re: Anoheal in the UK

Hi! Anoheal is brilliant stuff, with no side effects, but its not easily obtained. If you ask your doctor for it, he'll give you a prescription, but most of the chemists, even the main ones like Boots, say they can't get it. I eventually found one that special orders it in for me, but that can take ...

Re: calcium

Thanks, I didn't know that. I have spinach, rocket and watercress with either salmon or crab for dinner most nights, so that's one less thing to worry about!
