3 year old son with chronic severe anal fissure....ideas!?!

... these months and nothing we have tried has done anything. Even doctors are perplexed. :( I am so frustrated. The one thing I have not tried was Manuka honey. Thoughts?

... along. Are you doing the aloe vera again? Lots of people here have found it helpful. As well as other things like virgin coconut oil, lanolin, and manuka honey. Dr's visit and a few questions...pls read

... one of the ointments , do I still have a chance of healing as it's already been almost 6 months since this fissure started? Also I started using manuka honey 2 days I ago, does it have to be applied internally for it to work? Thanks

... it take for you to notice that the honey was working? Did you insert it into the rectum or just on the surface? I ordered Medihoney today, it has Manuka honey in it. Also I was wondering what does UMF mean? Thanks

I found manuka honey helped heal my AF quickly. It's very good for open wounds and is anti bacterial. They use it in hospitals for deep wounds so u can imagine how potent it is ...use pure new zealand manuka honey, the higher the UMF the better, UMF20+ is what I use but it can go up to 40
