Re: Your anus wants what's best for you...

Re: about to book my surgery

... I probably could have ended it then and there. I repeat - do not take the easy way out for the convenience of going to school. If you become incontinent then how will you feel?

Re: CRS Recommendations in London?

... work on me nor likely Botox as we need to cure the root cause ie the anal spasms first. He would never do LIS on me anyway as he says I’ll end up incontinent when I’m older. He doesn’t rule out Botox but says he would prefer the approach of dilation etc first to see if we can heal naturally. Ok ...

Re: My success-story

... rate seems quite low and I don’t fancy ending up worse. I’m not a candidate for LIS apparently being female the doc seems to think I’ll end up incontinent when I’m old! Great… I’m now swallowing olive oil and aloe Vera juice as someone said it cured them!! The upside is we can’t drink alcohol ...

Re: Mucus/Moist after LIS

... just makes it itch and feel a little annoying. I am sure the LIS had a little do with it. A completely acceptable trade off! I am definitely not incontinent.

Re: 32F LIS Post op experience

... almost guarantee that it will be a high resting pressure. Her concerns are that I’ve had 3 vaginal births so high risk patient, also that I was incontinent after Botox one time. She said that she (or any other surgeon) can’t fix it if lis renders me permanently incontinent. I’m going to ask ...

Re: Planning to get LIS - But I have questions

... be honest, I didn't ask most of the questions you are when I had the surgery. I didn't even know about this board. I knew I was not going to be incontinent based on how strong my sphincter was - and that was my main concern. I was not worried about the LIS itself. I wasn't worried about recovery. ...

Re: Second LIS

... to get incontinence after the 2.LIS . I would say , if so I would not be able to work anymore , since I work with people every day , and being incontinent is a huge issue for me. My cultural background does not allowed to be incontinent either… so I have no other options … the only one thing ...

Re: 5 years of chronic but may be healing

... ever do LIS". I am starting to suspect this is because they don't want the risk of being sued for cutting too far and rendering you all but incontinent. Much better to keep prescribing you the same cream, and bill you every time you come for a visit. I also think many simply do not appreciate ...
