Re: Hello, revolutionary fissure approach?

Thanks for adding your experience. I have had my proctitis for about 12 years now, and have been on Metronidazole twice in that time. It had no affect on my proctitis, but may be a way forward for fissures.

Re: Hello, revolutionary fissure approach?

... but did either of you ever try the Betadine treatment? I have recently learned that it might help me with a very painful bout of ulcerative proctitis, which just happens to be in the very same area as most fissures. I will be seeing my surgeon next month and bringing this topic up with him. ...

Too much blood for a fissure? What's happenning?

... So I'm just guessing as to what's going on. A family member is a doctor, and she at first said it was probably hemorrhoids, and now thinks it's proctitis. She's gonna give me hydrocortisone suppositories. I'm just worried that it's a fissure, not proctitis, and that the HC suppositories will ...

Re: Proctitis, kinda worried now.

Likely. You really want soft serve as difficult and scary as that sounds. I'm right there with you, to protect my fissure I have myself super loose stools. My fissure was better with smooth soft serve stool but formed movements kept reopening it. Now that I've had Botox, I need to get back to formed...

Proctitis, kinda worried now.

... got an anorectal manometry which confirm my hyperfine, hence I'll have a LIS. The procedure was painful tho, and the surgeon now think I have a proctitis. That freaking scared, cause I've read before about ICU and Crohns. I have no pain in my bowels, never got a fever, never got diarrhea (except ...

Re: Breastfeeding, any chance to heal?

... I would die one day in my bathroom. When my daughter was 3 month my husband took me to the CRS almost by force - thanks to him so much. It was proctitis and fissure. But proctitis was easily healed with camomile enemas. It was so easy and fast! Why I was so stupid not seeing doctor for such ...

... then been feeling discomfort throughout the day. Strange the burning is more in the evening I searched this and came across Proctalgoa fugax, proctitis and possibly prostatitis. It’s either one of these, all of these or a new fissure since the burning is mostly opposite my tailbone and not ...
