Day 2 post LIS: My recovery thus far is an exact replica of my recovery from Botox.
I went back and read day 1 and day 2 from Botox while sitting on the Sitz bath after my morning BM this morning. It’s uncanny how similar the recovery is so far.
The only differences for me between Post Botox recovery and post LIS are:
1) A lot more blood and seepage. I’ve been changing my gauze every 2-3 hours and have been impressed each time by the amount of seepage.
2) Overall less pain. This could be just me being more experienced with the pain having worked through it over the last year, or the diligent dosing of pain meds and prophylactic usage of THC. If marijuana is legal where you live, I highly recommend an edible indica strain.
So far, so good. The pain I’m experiencing is not shooting or stabbing pain from my fissure - it feels dull and swollen.
Looking forward to better days ahead!!
