Hi, Newbie here. I hope Im doing this right. I was diagnosed in Nov of 07 with this fissure. I am using diltiazem as we speak and on my 4th week. Anyone have good results with this? Tom
Welcome to this wonderful forum ! I love the username ! Absolutely stick with that cream :) this worked for me before, took a little longer than 12 weeks so hang in there !
I used Nitro and Nefidapine creams and they gave me good relief and I healed eventually but had my fissure reopen soon after again. It is definitely possible to heal with creams but you also have to take care of diet (making sure that your poop is very soft) and take regular sitz baths every day. I hope that you are not in too much pain : (((. I wish you best of luck and welcome to our forum !!! :arwen:
Thank you. Breakfast: OJ with tablespoon of Benefiber cup of coffee apple or banana 1 Cup of Raisin Bran Lunch: Whole wheat bread with turkey Oatmeal Cranberry juice and 1 tblspn of benefiber Supper: usually chicken or pasta veggies varies Bedtime: Glass of Plumsmart
Haha yes your user name.. its a good one ! I am glad you see an improvement :) diet, water and stool softners are the key...NEVER let that slip while you are healing :) Plenty of good advice on this board :)
