Wow. I missed a lot this weekend. I hope you are feeling good still Tabby and that the appt goes well.
Jo, all I can say is that these things do heal, but very, very slowly and frustratingly. I've realized recently that I've come to expecct the pain every day, so it is not as depressing as before, and it allows me to be pleasantly surprised on days where there is no pain.

Glad you are feeling better, know what you mean about the post traumatic syndrome! I have that too, especially when I have to poo and never know how that will affect me for the day...or if I haven't pooed for a day or more. Really happy to hear you are not suffering any more hemorrhoid problems. May you never have that problem again with your good diet and fiber!!
Hoping your pain diminishes daily and you can soon put that all "behind" you.
Thanks Buttgirl, I know things will heal some day and I have seen progress over the months...just need to be thankful things are healing and I mostly don't have pain from muscle spasms anymore. And also that the hemmies are hopefully gone forever.

Good luck with your appointment. I tried the new approach for golf this morning. Didn't do a whole lot better golfing until the end, but I didn't get so stressed out about everything (even when I missed the ball once!!!). I continued to tell my friend/playing partner that I am into golf in order to RELAX (and tried to tell myself that). I have my golf lesson this afternoon.
