As long as you are recovering fine, I wouldn't sweat being quite so particular about reintroducing foods. Beyond continuing to lay off the junk foods for a few more weeks, I would resume, though gradually, eating a normal diet. But why rush things? I'd stay on whatever is working for about four weeks post-surgery, giving the fissure time to close.

Yes, I had my surgery here in Houston.

I was on the Southwest side so my procedure took place at Memorial Southwest in the Day Surgery center.
