just wanted to chime in here and "brag" about my veteran surgery status. LOL i'm going in for my 7th surgery in the past 3 years this week. i'm only 27. surgery isn't a big deal, trust me. It sucks, yah, but most of the time it helps the problem...plus you get painkillers and time off work! Look at the bright side of that :D Just do it NG!

lol that's definitely one of the plus sides juney :)
Just got back from LIS and still kinda out of it. No pain yet but we'll see. Gonna pop a few painkillers and go take a nap. Definitely feeling a sense of relief, mixed with some curiosity about how the next few days will go :)

Maybe just relax now and breathe a sigh of relief that the surgery is done and let your body heal itself with meditating/prayer/deep breathing. Whatever happens during recovery will probably just be temporary! You did it!!

So far I have kicked off recovery with Vicodin, video games, and the NBA playoffs :) Aside from the somewhat worrisome discharge and some to-be-expected pain, it's not going too bad at all. Hopefully I can still say that after a BM tomorrow :)

Maybe you can switch to Tylenol soon. I think the Vicodin really got my mom constipated after her hysterectomy. That's the last thing you want to happen!! Good luck!
