Hi I am new here and just found this forum a couple of days ago. I have dealt with my fissure since the start of May and been doing the whole nitro ointment and lidocane ointment deal the whole time. It got better for a bit but then took a turn for the worse and since then it has been hell. I went back to the CRS who decided that I was dealing with enough pain that LIS would be my best option for getting this healed up and me feeling better. So today I had my LIS done and I am very hopeful that this works for me.

Wow....that was quick! Fissure started beginning of May and you get LIS done end of July?...
Great that you have been able to get things sorted so quickly!! No way that would happen on the NHS here in the UK!!
