I had one BM maybe 2-4 weeks after the surgery where I had a small streak of blood that had nothing to do with the LIS. That was the only time. Nothing else since November. I use a squatty potty now which really helps me go easier too. My stools are usually bulky and soft which is exactly what you want. And a few times when the stool was harder and dry, I took my time and let it come slowly without straining (which the squatty potty really helps with). If I ever see blood again (and I am sure at some point I may) I always use a bidet to clean (much less TP use to irritate the area) and I have a sitz bath standing by for treating the area if need be so it won't get out of control. A tiny fissure like you may have just had shouldn't really be a cause for concern.
