Now I am on Day 5 of recovery and I am feeling pretty good today. Yesterday I had the dreadful BM and I was in serious pain! But a heating pad and pain pills helped. Today I have been moving around and getting back to life. I am still trying to lay in bed but I am getting really bored. But-overall feeling much better today! :paddysmiley1:
I stayed in bed a long time, just resting. Do you have any good books or movies you could watch. Hopefully your post BM pain didn't last too long. Sounds like you are on top of it!
I just read a 989 page book and I think I am going to get caught up on all the movies over the past year that I never got to see. Still borning laying in bed! My dog has been laying by me for 5 days straight and was surprised to see me walking around today!
That is just fantastic It is so nice to have you here KB : ))) - you are our first and only "flap" person and it is a great honor to be a pioneer !!! Your case will have so much needed hope for people who suffer for years with no relief and help ! Wishing you continuous fast and complete recovery
Hey- I just put in a call to the doctor because there was a lot of blood with my BM the past 3 days and I looked and it seems to me that the stitches are out. I am not happy about this!!!!!! I will let you know when I see the doctor either today or tomorrow....
Sometimes a little blood can look like a lot. It is Ok to still bleed after surgery, for weeks and even months to come, though it should be less and less as time goes by. But you know how much blood you saw, and if it has you worried you have done the right thing by calling your surgeon. I hope it turns out OK and it's just the normal, expected bleeding, KB! Please let us know what you find out! It's gonna be OK, you are headed for healing!
Let us know ASAP what your CRS thinks. I hope he will take a look and put your worries at rest !!! Wishing you "fast-forward" healing and NO blood tomorrow or any day after
