Hi Bojjbo, glad to hear the pain is almost gone! As for the blood, I remember having a period of no pain but there was always that streak of blood. That was in Jan. I still had it checked out by the doc and doc said it’s improved, not healed. I guess you just need to be patient and wait for it to heal.

Yes Abu I'm doing really well has been helped by soft bms Im thinking. Bojjbo the surgeon said go off of how you feel not by what you see! That sentence was a game changer for me ever since he said that to me I've felt better I do believe seeing blood makes things worse mentally so I stopped looking and checking for blood an I went with (well even if there is blood I'm FEELING better each day not as much pain) he also said who cares if it bleeds forever as long as your in no pain. If discomfort is ok with you then who cares about anything else so I thought your right I can deal with discomfort and if I can't I'll get lis or Botox again the power is in our hands and in our minds! Stop looking down and start looking up it's much brighter.

Hi, was just wondering how everyone is getting on now??
I had Botox 6 days ago and still experiencing spasms after bowel movement. Is this normal at this stage? The surgeon did say to expect pain for 15 days. I don’t want to take pain meds as I’m still breast feeding.
Thanks for any input. Hoping as you guys have gone a bit quiet you are all healing x

Hi with my first Botox they only used 60units of Botox and I still had pain for a few weeks and then after that I only had pain most of the time was only during bms I had my second lot of Botox this time 100units and it took about a week till things settled down but this time around I'm doing alot better no pain during or after bms after about 2weeks so I put it down to the increased amount of Botox this time. Keep at it and see how you feel at the 6week mark. Do you know how much Botox was put in?

Hey, thanks for your reply missy moo. Looks as though he used 75 units and cleaned the fissure out . I’m really hoping it starts to feel better in another week. We go on holiday for 2 weeks then and I’m so nervous of pain and diet etc etc.
When did they give you a second round of Botox was it after 6 weeks?
